Rudolf-Steiner-Haus

The conference will be held in the Rudolf-Steiner-Haus, that has a historical background as an accommodation of the Anthroposophical Society back in the year 1898. Since 1962, it is presenting as a place for conferences and other events.

Conference rooms:

The Rudolf-Steiner-Haus offers its own auditorium (321 places) including a wardrobe, plus seven other rooms with various sizes up to 150 persons each room, which assures us the possibility of several workshops at the same time.

Directions

Since parking is limited, we recommend traveling by public transportation. Transportation from the Airport: The airport is located in the north of Hamburg. The rapid transit line S1 (towards Wedel) takes you to the train station Hamburg Dammtor within 25-30 minutes.

On foot via train station “Dammtor”
(ca. 8 minutes walking distance)

Leave the train station using the exit marked “Theodor-Heuss-Platz” and cross the street (two pedestrian lights). Walk straight ahead through the park (Moorweide) until you reach the street “Mittelweg” which you should follow northward. On the left side you will find the “Rudolf Steiner Haus”.

Via bus starting at the train station “Dammtor”
(4 minutes)

Leave the train station using the exit marked “Theodor-Heuss-Platz” and cross the street (two pedestrian lights). Cross the street “Mittelweg” which is located to your right. There you will find the bus station “Bf. Dammtor”. Take the bus line 109 going to „U Alsterdorf“ (approx. every 7 minutes) and get off at the next stop called “Fontenay”. After a 100 meters walk northward you will find the “Rudolf Steiner Haus” on the left-hand side.

Parking

Since the number of available parking spaces is limited, we recommend the use of public transportation. If you need a parking space, you can use the parking garage at the Hotel Grand Elysee for a fee.
